How To Overcome Candida Naturally

Through the years I have kept a list of helpful tips on how to overcome Candida naturally and it keeps growing! I hope these thirty-six tips help you on your journey to healing.
1) Throw out your microwave! Or at least use it as little as possible. Microwave cooking is not natural or healthy, and it is dangerous. Microwaves work by creating friction in water molecules which creates heat. Artificially produced microwaves are created from alternating current that forces a billion or more polarity reversals per second in every food molecule they land on. This violent agitation causes substantial damage to food molecules, often tearing them apart or deforming them. Impaired cells then become targets for waiting viruses, fungi, and other microorganisms. Microwaves are especially destructive of B-complex vitamins, vitamins C and E, and essential minerals. Disturbing changes in blood samples have been shown in volunteers who ate microwaved food. In 1991 a woman in Oklahoma died after receiving a transfusion of blood that had been warmed in a microwave oven. Carcinogens have been found in virtually all food tested. Microwaves render all food acid-forming, the environment most favorable for the growth of yeast. Every microwave oven leaks microwave radiation, and patients with implanted defibrillators are told not to use them or stand near them. Microwaves also negatively affect hormones, especially male hormones. In 1976, Russia banned the use of microwave ovens after years of research proved their dangers, even showing that a human did not even need to eat microwave prepared food to be adversely affected, just standing near the energy field itself was enough to cause harm. Unfortunately, Gorbachev lifted the ban in the 1980’s. If a microwave is installed at eye level, eyes can be damaged. Every time you use one, the yeast/beast is waiting for all the cells damaged by microwaves to feast on.
2) Ditch all your non-stick cookware. Teflon is far more dangerous than people realize. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is calling for a nasty chemical found in Teflon (C-8) called perfluorooctanic acid to be removed because it is a proven carcinogen. As soon as you heat the pan Teflon starts to vaporize, is inhaled, and goes straight to the bloodstream. It targets the liver and kidneys; has been found in breast milk; and has been linked to birth defects and infertility. Teflon is found in the lining of some paper bags, especially microwave popcorn. The safest cookware to use is porcelain enamel, enamel-coated cast iron, steel, or glass.
3) If your stomach is not too sensitive, squeeze Fresh lemon juice into your drinking water. Lemon is healing to the liver and will help speed up detoxification. It is also alkalizing in the body, which is so important to outsmarting the acid-loving yeast. Alkaline blood is anti-fungal blood.
4) Get out your crock pot! I love my crock pot! It is so wonderful for cooking! It is one of the best ways to prepare food from a nutrition standpoint. I use mine several times a week!
5) Check all your supplements to make sure they are only natural products. And never buy mushroom extracts or products that contain them.
6) Never drink distilled water, it leaches valuable minerals from your body. It’s also acidic, which yeast loves. It is dead water, containing no oxygen. Fish can’t even live in it! Drink filtered (ID # 7322664) or spring water only. Drink half your body weight in ounces of water a day. Water hydrates internal organs, especially the brain, enabling them to function properly, removes waste and toxins, and keeps elasticity in the skin to help you look younger!
7) Wash cantaloupe and strawberry skins carefully in Kangen water ( ID # 7322664) before cutting into them. Their skins are porous and they may harbor mold.
8) Eat leftovers within two days.
9) Substitute water chestnuts for mushrooms.
10) Always eat breakfast to set your metabolism for the day. This is the best time to eat your one or two servings of fruit for the day. If you are past your 30 day period of no sugar.
11) Substitute coconut milk for milk if you are not allergic to dairy.
12) Use Kangen water ( ID # 7322664) to wash your vegetables and fruits thoroughly. This will remove insecticides, preservatives, coloring’s, metal salts, fungi, and bacteria.
13) Use only sea salt. It contains more than eighty sea minerals in perfect balance. The trace minerals and macro-nutrients present in naturally harvested sea salt are in a precise dosage identical in composition to that of our body fluids. It is both a food and a medicine. As a preservative, salt maintains flesh! Chemically produced table salt has been stripped of its nutrients and is unbalanced and harmful. It can legally contain up to two percent chemical additives, such as bleaches, anti-caking agents, and conditioners. Salt to which iodine has been added contains about twenty times the naturally occurring amount of iodine in sea salt. This imbalance can be dangerous.
14) Do not go on a no-carbohydrate diet. It will shock your systems, especially the pancreas and adrenals. And throw them off-balance.
15) Avoid irradiated foods at all costs. They produce huge amounts of free radicals and will stress the immune system further by adding more toxic chemicals to the total body load. Radiation is used to kill bacteria, such as E. coli, to mask the filthy slaughtering and unsanitary food processing practices so prevalent in factory farms and agribusiness today. It also renders most nutrients worthless. Note the growing number of recalls on contaminated meats, fruits, and vegetables we’ve seen in the last few years.
Food is bombarded with ionizing radiation, using gamma rays generated from radioactive cobalt, x-rays, or high-speed electrons from electronic guns to kill bacteria and extend shelf life. In the process cell walls are broken up, chromosomes are shredded, enzymes are killed, nutrients are destroyed, especially vitamin A, one of the most radiation sensitive of the fat soluble vitamins, and dangerous free radicals are formed which could become cancers down the road. And the FDA claims irradiated food is safe!
In the last twenty years it has become legal to irradiate beef, chicken, pork, fruit, vegetables, eggs, juice, spices, almonds, spinach, iceberg lettuce, sprouting seeds, oysters, clams, scallops and mussels.
Buy local and organic as much as possible, and avoid any food labeled “treated with radiation” or “treated by irradiation” or has the radura, the symbol for irradiation, on the label. Unfortunately, the FDA is considering a proposal to ease off labeling guidelines because too many people are being scared away by the “irradiated” label! The only way to make sure you are not buying nuked food is to buy organic.
16) Don’t cook with aluminum pots and pans or use aluminum foil. Aluminum dissolves when it touches organic acids and alkalis that are found in fruit and vegetables. Salt and baking soda speed up the corrosion. Once “aluminumized” food is eaten and is dissolved by the hydrochloric acid in the stomach, it enters the bloodstream and is deposited in organs, muscles, and other tissue. Aluminum has been found in the brains of Alzheimer’s patients.
17) Use only aluminum-free baking powder.
18) Be mindful of ingredients in antiperspirants and deodorants. Most have aluminum and other harmful ingredients. Try (ID #12668940) AromaGuard Mountain Mint Deodorant or AromaGuard Meadow Mist Deodorant.
19) If you can’t find a good yeast-free bread, go online and search for yeast-free breads and bakeries. Try French Meadow at www.FrenchMeadow.com. If your allergic to grains.
20) If you have arthritis, eliminate members of the nightshade family from your diet. Many arthritics are allergic to them. They include white potatoes, peppers, eggplant, tomatoes, and tobacco. Alkalize with Kangen water ( ID # 7322664) or a green drink daily since arthritis is an acid condition. (See next tip.)
21) Add a “green drink” to your regimen to help alkalize your body. Look for one containing a wide variety of grasses, including wheat grass, barley grass, lemon grass, shave grass, kamut grass, oat grass, or organic liquid chlorophyll from alfalfa. If you can’t find them, just barley grass will do. Green drinks help regenerate new fungal blood. Don’t buy green drinks that contain algae or mushrooms.
22) Try stevia powder to sweeten. It’s an herb that is thirty times sweeter than sugar, but does not alter blood sugar levels or feed yeast. It has no calories and a little goes a long way!
23) If you smoke, now is the time to quit! Get that monkey off your back! Smokers are literally poisoning themselves. Tobacco is very, very high in fungus as it is a sugar “cured” product. There are 599 approved additives in cigarettes and over 4,000 chemical compounds are created when cigarettes are burned, many of them toxic and carcinogenic, including carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, hydrogen cyanide, and ammonia.
The second largest purchaser of refined sugar is the tobacco industry! Flue-cured tobacco contains as much as 20 percent sugar by weight, and even air-cured tobacco has sugar added in the blending process. Every time you inhale you are getting a sugar fix, your blood sugar rises and yeast is ecstatic! Tobacco addiction is basically a yeast-driven sugar addiction.
More than 700 chemicals are found in cigarettes, some classified as so toxic they aren’t allowed in food! Additionally, they contain over 50 carcinogenic materials. The temperature of a lit cigarette reaches nearly 2,000 degrees! This high heat spurs the release of thousands of chemical compounds, including poisons like carbon monoxide, cyanide, methanol, formaldehyde, acetylene, and ammonia, all of which are inhaled into the body. Yeast and fungi welcome them with open arms!
Nicotine is another driver in this equation. All stimulants taken into the body stimulate the growth of more yeast and fungi. Nicotine is one of the most powerful stimulants known. Between the sugar and nicotine, yeast levels can reach astronomical proportions. No wonder they want to be fed every few minutes or hours. No wonder cigarettes are so “addictive.” No wonder it is so hard to quit.
24) If affordable, find a good massage therapist and treat yourself to a massage once a week while you are healing. This will help break down the accumulations of toxins in muscles and tissues and will speed your healing.
25) Two to three times a week take a soaking bath that will open the pores of your skin and allow toxins to escape. Before bed, add ½ to 1 cup of Epsom salt and 4 drops lavender essential oil to your warm water (ID#12668940). Simply soak, using NO soap, for 20 minutes. Rub a washcloth in a circular motion all over your body several times during the soak. Towel off and go to bed. This bath really speeds up the healing process.
26) Do not use antibacterial soaps, sprays, or wipes. They are another fear-driven fraud. We have become so germaphobic that now we have antibacterial soaps, laundry detergents, shampoos, toothpastes, body washes, dish soaps, even cutting boards! The active ingredient in most of these products is Triclosan, a dangerous and toxic bacterial agent that kills bacteria and inhibits its growth. Unfortunately, it also kills human cells!
The overuse of these products causes bacteria to mutate into resistant strains. Such products are, after all, antibiotics! When absorbed into the bloodstream, they adversely affect immune lymphatic, endocrine, reproductive, and neurological systems. Sound familiar? You are inviting yeast to proliferate wherever they are used. It is good for the immune system to be challenged with a little bacteria or dirt on occasion to keep it hopping. Use essential oils such as Thieves, (ID #12668940)) a wonderful line of all-natural, non-toxic, immune boosting antimicrobial products for the home, and good old soap and water. Remember, you want clean, not sterile!
Do not use air fresheners unless they are all natural. Commercial air fresheners are Loaded with toxic chemicals that add to the load of the already over-burdened immune system. Instead purchase a Honeywell Allergen Plus Air Filter from Home Depot for your home AC/heating unit to keep your home air fresh. It is a fabulous filter which removes mold spores and bacteria from the air.
27) Check your urine and pH levels at home with pH strips found in pharmacies and health food stores. Your body should be slightly alkaline at a pH of 7.365. Anything lower than that indicates an over-acidic body. Yeast loves acidity, and over-acidity causes many of the symptoms of Candida overgrowth. Find an alkaline list of foods to follow. I have one in the files section of my Facebook group The Candida Overgrowth Road To Healing. If you are too acidic, eat foods mostly from the alkaline list until you normalize.
28) Go to Home Depot or a health food store and buy inexpensive “mold detectors”. If you have mold or mildew growing anywhere in your home such as behind wallpaper, in the bathroom, in the basement, in the air-conditioning, in the humidifier, have it remediated immediately. There are companies that help you find it and remove it. If you continue to live in a moldy environment, you constantly will be re=infecting yourself and you will never get well.
29) Do not drink fluoridated water or use products that contain fluoride. Never have fluoride treatments in the dentist’s office. Fluoride is a corrosive poison and is the active toxin found in rat poisons and roach powders. Most of the fluoride added to municipal drinking water is a chemical pollutant and by-products of aluminum, steel, copper, iron, cement, phosphate, and nuclear weapons manufacturing. Ingestion of as little as one percent of a tube of children’s fluoridated toothpaste can produce acute fluoride toxicity in a young child. Since 1997, all fluoridated toothpastes are required by the FDA to carry warning labels that read: “Warning: Keep out of reach of children under 6 years of age. If more than is used for brushing is accidentally swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center.” Some tubes even carry the poison symbol of skull and crossbones! Fluoride is known to cause dental fluorosis, osteoporosis, arthritis, hip fractures, brain damage, thyroid disorders, and infertility. It increases the uptake of aluminum in the brain by 600 percent, making a nest for Alzheimer’s disease. It is a known carcinogen and neurotoxin, and is banned in Scandinavia and most of Europe. It is found in Teflon and Tefal cookware. Drink pure spring water or Kangen water only (ID # 7322664).
30) If possible, have all the amalgam (silver) fillings removed from your teeth. They are 50% mercury! Replace them with composites. Chewing, grinding, and drinking hot beverages release toxic mercury vapors which are absorbed into the body with devastating effects on the kidneys, blood vessels, and central nervous system. Mercury also kills the beneficial bacteria in the gut, leading to the creation of more yeast. Healing from Candida overgrowth will be much slower, or even blocked, if your immune system is constantly dealing with mercury poisoning. Find a dentist who is well qualified to do this procedure, as extra training is needed to extract and properly dispose of the hazardous waste. 31) Avoid farm-raised or “pen-reared” fish. Most are raised in overcrowded, feces-infested pens with little swimming room that makes them prone to diseases. Farm raised fish are fed more antibiotics by weight than any other form of livestock. Even so, many are infested with sea lice. Most farm-raised fish are fed ground-up fish to which genetically modified corn has been added (fish don’t eat corn), contain mercury, cancer-causing PCB’s, and dioxin. The omega-3:6 ratio is very unfavorable, as farm-raised fish contain up to 400 percent more omega 6 fatty acids than wild-caught fish, an unhealthy imbalance that contributes to inflammation in the body. The flesh of salmon raised in pens is actually grey, so artificial color has to be added to make them look normal and pink. In the grocery store and when eating out, always ask for wild-caught fish only.
32) Eliminate plastic containers for storage and leftovers. They contain cancer-causing chemicals which can leach into your food. Some plastics are safer than others. The way to tell which ones are safe and which ones are dangerous is to look at the bottom of the container. You will see a little triangle with a number inside it. Containers with a 3, 6, or 7 are the most dangerous, containing a volatile chemical called BPA. Avoid at all costs. Containers with a 4 or 5 on the bottom are generally regarded as safe, but use sparingly, and never use in a microwave. Containers with a 1 or 2 on the bottom are the safest, and again, never use in a microwave. Use glass. Also, never use Styrofoam cups or plates. Styrene is a poison.
33) Try to remain cheerful while healing yourself. Nobody enjoys being around a whiny person.
34) Get plenty of sleep and rest while you heal. Remember, the body will be using much energy to detoxify and rebuild itself. You may feel really fatigued the first few days or weeks. Use this time to nourish, balance, and heal the whole person, body, mind, and soul.
35) Never refer to the disease or condition you are dealing with as “my cancer,” “my asthma, “ “my colitis,” “my candidiasis,” etc. You do not own it! When you say “my” you are claiming it. Your subconscious is always listening to what you are thinking and the words that you are saying and will program them for the future. Instead say “the cancer” or “this condition” or “this temporary disease.”
36) Pray daily for healing to be complete. Learn to meditate and reconnect with our Creator. All healing is simply activating the Holy Spirit within. In Exodus we read, “I am the Lord God which healeth thee.”
